Personalized 9th Anniversary Mug: Handcrafted Pottery with Custom Wedding Date and Glaze

Choose any text you would like your husband or wife to see on their mug every day. Add a favorite quote, wedding vows, song lyrics, an inside joke, your names and wedding date, or a few words that are meaningful to the two of you. Your mug will be individually handmade on the pottery wheel, stamped with your personalized text by hand, and finished with a final glaze firing at over 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit.

These stoneware mugs are microwave and dishwasher safe, making them ideal for enjoying coffee, tea, hot cocoa or another favorite drink together for years to come.

The exposed stoneware clay is a rich beige. The inside and rim of each mug are glazed.

• Canyon Clay (Brown) is an earthy glaze shown in the photos that say "9 years later and I still choose you" with a unique multicolored drip effect on the inside of the mug.

• Speckled White (White) is shown in the picture as a set of two. This glaze is satin white with tiny black and brown specks to give it a more handmade farmhouse feel.

• Midnight Sky (Navy) pools in darker areas on the outside, with a slightly lighter blue color on the inside.

• Alpine Moss (Green) has blue and brown undertones. The glaze changes over the raised throwing rings, allowing the handmade texture to show through.

Each mug fits up to 100 characters, including spaces and punctuation. Short phrases or 3–5 lines of text leave beautiful negative space and make the words stand out. Longer lines will wrap around the mug slightly. I will choose line breaks that suit your wording and center the text unless you request otherwise.

Because every mug is individually thrown by hand, its dimensions and capacity will vary slightly. Each mug is approximately 4.5 inches tall with a 3.5-inch rim diameter. This size holds about 16–18 ounces.

Handmade pottery takes time. The clay must dry slowly before its first kiln firing. After cooling, the mug is glazed, fired a second time, and cooled again. Rushing these stages can cause cracks, so the mugs are created and fired in small batches. Your mug will take approximately 2–5 weeks to make before shipping, depending on where the current batch is in the process.
