These red heart mugs were thrown with stoneware clay on the pottery wheel. Each mug was let to dry for a little bit before having the bottom trimmed, handle added, and shaped into hearts. They are bisque fired. Finally, they were glazed and fired to over 2,000 degrees. Each mug holds about 12 ounces. These would be an adorable for a long-distance friendship to each have a matching mug across the country. Or as a Valentine's Day or anniversary gift. A small pitcher for creamer.
