Your mug will be handmade on the ceramics wheel. Then, your quote is stamped into the clay and the handle is added. The last step is firing it in a kiln at over 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit.
You can order an individual mug or a set of mugs, one for you and one for someone special. Or give them both as an anniversary or wedding gift.
These stoneware mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe, making them ideal to enjoy coffee (or tea!) with your loved one regularly.
The exposed stoneware clay is a rich beige. The inside of the mug and the rim are glazed. I would recommend ordering a sets in the same color, as the glaze colors have different sheen and pooling qualities.
The usual dimensions are approximately 4.5 inches tall with a 3.5 inch rim. This size holds about 16 ounces.
These mugs are custom made from raw clay. The whole process takes 4-7 weeks, but I can send you photos while your mug is in process! That way, if your order is not done in time, you can see and show the recipient the custom pottery gift being made just for them!

Just received this beautifully wrapped package — and the timing couldn’t be better! Ordered this for my sister’s birthday/retirement (tomorrow) and was shocked it arrived today! It came faster than expected…so now i can return my “plan b” gift which isnt nearly as special. The design and craftsmanship is beautiful and i know she will love this. The quote i had inscribed “a little hard work never hurt anyone…but why risk it? Happy retirement!”
